The Crystal Fox Holds Book Talk and Signing
Ancient Rome and Carthage Revisited
Local author and historian Angela Render will give a talk on her recent historical fiction novel, Forged By Lightning: A Novel of Hannibal and Scipio (ISBN-10: 1411680022) at The Crystal Fox in Laurel, Maryland on Saturday, November 3, 2007 from 2-4pm. The talk will look at religious practices during the later Roman Republic and Carthaginian empire, the time period covered in the novel. A Q&A with the author as well as a book signing will follow.
